Dedicated to Miss Photog

So I just finished my progress reports and am ready for the next round of PT conferences - yes it is 11:30pm, but I want to wait up for Stella anyway. She is on her way home from VB @ Payson. - Should be home midnightish.
Speaking of Stella, we went on a picnic for Labor Day, but she was gone camping with friends, so I thought of what would she take pictures - she has a gift for that. Here are my fav flora - cockleburrs & salt cedars - of which one I love the scent, and the other I always hated pulling out of my socks!

Also - Our neighbors had built a fire this morning - Sully & I noticed the smoke as we left for school, and tonight we have a freeze warning. Good grief, isn't it barely autumn.

Run like the wind

We have another DB in the house. He takes down kids twice his size!

Stop and Smell the Weeds

With all the rain we have had, the weeds have gone WILD. We spent the whole afternoon pulling them - by the wheelbarrowful!

County Fair

For 3 years now, we have wanted to go to the fair, but with games every night, and Saturdays, there has never been time. This year, however, there was no game Friday night - so what to do, but go to the fair. Let's just say, we realized we hadn't missed much in the last three years, - as far as the rides go anyway.
The exhibits were neat, especially all the different chickens.

Numero uno

Stella is playing setter for frosh & rotates in on JV. They have a great team - all great athletes. They get better each time we watch.

Endure to the VERY End

With 12 seconds to spare, SJ was up 26-21, unfortunately our QB connected and RV WON 29-26. It was a back and forth game the whole night with surprisingly decent sportsmanship - ya never know.
Mitchell was instrumental in winning as he stopped the SJ 2 point conversion. (OT can get ugly)
PS - FYI SJ won in the last minutes last year.
