Just another tree

The Capitol Christmas Tree was taken from our very own "backyard" forest over by Alpine. Sully performed at the ceremony that evening.

Getting our tree this year was much easier than last year - no wind, no snow. - Can't wait for the guys to come home from hunting so we all can decorate it!

Play that Righteous Music

Our YM-YW rocked the standards night with our rendition of Play that Funky Music (I had inspiration for the rewrite. No joke!!) I also stayed up til 1AM the night before making tye-dye shirts. All for a good cause.
We seriously have the best YM-YW.
Thanks Nat for the cellphone pix. What a great memory!

Rollin, Rollin, Rollin

Physics class mouse trap car project. Mitchell really has a mind for mechanics. It had gears, sprockets and whatnot. - Can you tell I never took physics! (The records were found in the Elm Motel clean-up. Thanks Gma Gwen)

The Perfect Sign

Recently Sully was explaining a game he and his comrades play where they have "the perfect sign" and they put it here, and punch there, and . . .
So I ask "What is the perfect sign?" He showed me. . . the okay sign. So I guess I have unknowingly helped his self-esteem. All this time I have been indicating that he is OKAY, he thought he was perfect!
Yesterday he won the Mogollon Tournament. He even beat the BR & JC kids he had lost to last year. He is now 6-0.
~He actually is perfect! :)~
