Our neighbor Randall (one of the few within a half mile) has been ripping up our road to run the electricity to our soon-to-be neighbor who is building. Travis helped by running the shovel. Randall helped us a lot with our house.
With the road ripped up, 2 cars have gotten high centered on our road. Travis had to pull one out. (Why are they on this road anyway is a question I am asking - it only comes to our house and they weren't even folks we know. hmmm)
Watching our neighbors build brings back bad memories of what we went through. Thank heavens for great "neighbors" in this community like Randall, John U, Everett (aka the 4th Nephite), Eric H, Cliff B, Isaacsons, Steve J, Shane & Dennis who helped us more than we can ever repay. Dad and Mom helped a ton too, coming all the way from Taylor on their only day off many times in many months. Barry came and painted places no one else dared. We are really blessed. Hopefully we can pay it forward.
In the meantime, I can't help but feel relieved everytime I look at their house cuz - It's not us anymore!!!!!
