Top of the world - our world anyway

For New Years, the weather was too nice to be indoors. We hiked up our mountain "Flattop" to the pinnacle where the star is mounted. The only thing was we thought we knew a "Short cut" that ended up being straight up the mountain. It was intensely cardiovascular as well as gave the calves and thighs a rememberance for several days. We had a picnic and took the right trail home. The outlook over the valley was incredible!
