Harder than I thought

This Wednesday Jeff called us from the airport as he was leaving the MTC and going to Independence. It was so great to hear his voice and I held it together talking to him and only had a mini-meltdown as I drove to work. He has been gone 2 months - only 22 to go.
Jeff is so disciplined in certain things - one being not drinking soda. I don't know what I was thinking, but somehow, I committed to not drinking it while he is gone.
I fell in love with Diet Coke with Lime several years ago on a campout with my sister. She had brought real limes and put them in Coke. When Coca-Cola came out with DC/L, I was hooked. (And me a die-hard Pepsi drinker) I drank the last one as we dropped him off at the curb.
The first day of work was ugly. Our school had not been informed of an all day long inservice, (you'd have thought someone I live with would have mentioned it)and so instead of working in my room as planned, I sat listening to a presenter going off on tangent after tangent. She even went over - past 4PM on the first day! Holy Cow! I was about to lose my mind. I seriously wanted to choke her and scream SHUT UP! At my room at 1AM the next two nights all I could thing of was this. . .

That week was KILLER. This one too - out of the 10 days back at work 6 of them have been over 12 hour days (several 14hours- ugh). Of course I passed Mindy's room and she was swigging her DC looking so relaxed and I was so jealous - What have I done. Am I crazy?

Travis is watching Mitchell in Farmington NM at the FB scrimmage.
Sully got home from FB practice in the pouring rain, and is now at the Foote's.
I picked up Stella from VB practice, and she is now upstairs with Kylie, Taylor and Dustin watching Wizards of Waverly Place.
Jeff is probably adjusting to the humidity, his new area and companion, and loving it.
Me - I'm doing laundry wishing I had a DC/L . . .seufz (sigh auf deutsch)
