We got our first letter - email - from Jeff! I had been haunting the post office for the past week. It is so great to hear that he is doing well! I went upstairs today and saw that he had left some clothes and his college backpack just laying there - like he's going to be back tomorrow to get them! I'm so sure kid. Gimme a Break! It helped me not miss him so bad for a minute as I put them away.

what a sweet letter... they seem to change almost instantly, don't they? you have done well with him and i look forward to reading his letters. i loved how he left clothes and his backpack on the floor... he must have known it would make you feel better!
