Jekyll Island

Our next stop after Savannah was one of the Golden Isles of Georgia - Jekyll Island - We rode bikes 10 miles around the island through the "cottages" of capitalist millionaires from the early 1900s, then through ruins from the 1700s. (info) Riding through the canopy of spanish moss hanging from the live oaks across the bridge to the driftwood beach was unforgettable.

Very cool. I've never heard of Jekyll Island, but now I'm intrigued.
